<p>We welcome all individuals who are interested and involved in fundraising. Chapter members represent a broad spectrum of professional experience and many area organizations. Non-members are welcome to attend chapter programs and events.</p>

<p align="center"><strong>Development &amp; Events Assistant</strong></p>
<p>The ISU Foundation seeks a committed and performance-oriented professional to provide support to the Development Communications and Events teams.  This position will assist with planning and executing campus and regional events in conjunction with the Events team.  Incumbent will also provide administrative assistance to the Development Communications and Events staff.  Other duties this individual will be responsible for are travel arrangements, preparation and monitoring budget, reimbursement process and maintaining information in our database.</p>
<p>Position requires a high school diploma or GED, degree preferred; a minimum of five years of professional experience or combination of relevant education and/or demonstrated work experience.  Experience using Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, along with the ability to learn in-house databases is necessary.  Must possess excellent attention to detail, accuracy, communication skills (both written and verbal), editorial skills, judgment, organizational planning, diplomacy, and professionalism.  Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.  Must be adaptable, flexible, self-directed and have a sense of humor. Experience working in a complex office setting and working effectively as a member of a team is highly desirable.  Organizational fit is the key.  Ideal candidates will share our organizational values of <em>Integrity, Donor-Centeredness, Fiduciary Responsibility, Results Oriented, Diversity of Thought, Innovation and Balance.</em></p>
